A quarterpipe is a ramp that looks like a quarter of a cylinder or half of a pipe, hence the name "quarterpipe."
It's typically made of wood, metal, or concrete, and it's often found in skate parks.
The coping is a rounded metal edge that runs along the top of the curved part of the quarterpipe.
